Who may enter
The competition is open to anyone aged 16 or over.

Short description

The competition is part of the Winchester Poetry Festival in England.

Poets from around the world are welcome to submit poems on any subject, in any form or style. Poems must be written in English and be no more than 40 lines. 

Poems must be the entrant's own work and should not have been published or accepted for publication elsewhere (including online).


Entry fees
£6 for first poem
£5 for subsequent poems

Prizes
• 1st Prize: £1,000
• 2nd Prize: £500
• 3rd Prize: £250

Winning and commended poems will be published in a competition anthology.
